The Brooks Family

Two thumbs up from Navy veteran Gerald Brooks and his wife, Susie. This North Carolina couple finally has the relief they’ve been waiting for after months on end of not being able to do laundry, cook, flush toilets, or even bathe in their own home without the burden of having to haul heavy loads of water from in town.

With a heart condition and having to regularly travel 75 miles for Mr. Brooks’ hospital appointments, the need for immediate access to clean, safe water in the home was obvious. However, the couple is on a fixed income, and any additional funds simply weren’t available to repair or replace their old, shallow well.

Thinking a new well was out of reach, the couple was ecstatic to learn that plans for a new well were, in fact, in place, and that the cost would be fully covered.
