The 3rd Annual Global Meeting of the World Water Quality Alliance (WWQA), co-hosted by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and UN Environment took place online on 26 and 27 January 2022. The theme of the meeting is ‘Data to Knowledge, Knowledge to Action’.
IGRAC’s researcher Claudia Ruz Vargas, together with senior scientist Joel Podgorski from Eawag presented the activities planned for the 'Year of Groundwater' and also about the past and planned activities of the Friends of Groundwater (FoG), one of the workstreams of the WWQA. Moreover, on the second day there was an interactive panel session on workstream posters where the FoG had the opportunity to showcase its contribution to the Alliance.
